Come and explore real estate on the north end of St. Simons Island. If you are looking for seclusion, land and some of the most spectacular views you have ever seen look no further than real estate on the north end of SSI. Whether it is a luxurious community like the Fredrica Golf Club or you are looking for land to develop on the marsh then the north end of St. Simons is where it’s at. I find that this particular part of the island is extremely quiet and is for the type of person that is really looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everything. If you think an area like the village or the peir has too much activity then the north end of the island is perfect for you. The elementary school for the area gets amazing scores and feedback and I can promise you you are never going to run into a traffic jam on the north end of the island unless there is a herd of deer or wild turkeys crossing the road.
Some of my favorite communities on the north end of the island are Hampton Point, Stillwater and Fredrica golf club. Butler Plantation is also a beautiful community to take a look at if you’re interested in properties in the area.
There are very few condominiums on the north end of the island and one of the few to keep your eye on would be Limburn Village. If you’re looking for land as an investment on St. Simons Island typically people are looking on the north end. You can routinely find lots of land for sale around 100K ranging all the way up to $1 million for multi acre parcels sometimes with marsh views. The North end of the island also has its fair share of new construction communities and although people say it is where you get your best bang for your buck on the island that is all relative. As we know real estate is about location, location and location but many people feel like the opportunity to have the amazing backdrop of marsh, river access and golfing all at your fingertips just minutes away is the perfect place which is the north end of the island on St. Simons.
